Internship and Fellowship Programs

Our Internship Program offers a unique chance for students of Law and Human Rights to gain hands-on experience in the field of child rights advocacy. Over the years, more than 200 students from both India and abroad have benefited from our internships, which provide in-depth exposure to the practical aspects of legal reform and human rights work.

  • Program Duration: Internships are available for a minimum of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and interest.
  • Eligibility: We welcome applications from law students, human rights students, and young professionals with a demonstrated interest in child rights and legal advocacy. Applicants should be self-motivated, proactive, and committed to making a difference.
  • Key Activities:
    • Legal research and analysis on current child rights issues.
    • Assisting with drafting legal documents, briefs, and policy recommendations.
    • Participating in field visits, workshops, and advocacy campaigns.
    • Engaging in community outreach and awareness programs.

The Krishna Sheela Fellowship is dedicated to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the field of child rights law. This fellowship offers a more in-depth engagement, providing fellows with the opportunity to lead significant projects and contribute to policy development.

  • Duration: Fellowships typically last between 6 to 12 months, depending on the project and the fellow’s availability.
  • Fellowship Focus Areas:
    • Advanced legal research and policy development in child rights.
    • Designing and implementing advocacy campaigns at the national or regional level.
    • Leading community engagement initiatives and legal education programs.
    • Collaborating with government bodies, NGOs, and international organizations to influence child rights policies.
  • Eligibility: The fellowship is open to law graduates, postgraduate students, and professionals with a background in law, human rights, or social sciences. Prior experience in child rights or legal advocacy is highly desirable.
  • Application Process: Candidates interested in the Krishna Sheela Fellowship should submit a detailed project proposal, along with their resume and a statement of purpose, to the contact person. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
